so i went to the drug store and bought a +1.5D reading glasses just to see what it feels like. I have to agree it does cause some weird muscle tension o.0

its common sense the center is not refracted. use your finger to make a pinhole and hold it up your eye. It does not take a "medical person" to "figure this out".
