In this early phase of eyesight (re)development you need to carry a pair of your old glasses with you - sometimes you have to put them on even if it lets the local people know that you are nearsighted...

I think my version of this method actually works. But all I'm doing is trying to look out of my worse-visioned eye as much as possible. I'm not creating more strain on purpose or anything.

fuggles, I agree with nancy and blauw. It sounds like 30 minutes is waaayyyy too long for you to be palming - I'd keep it to sessions of 3 minutes or less. Or even just stop when it feels like enoug...

It's not that the eye-dominance 'thing' is false, it's that it is an overblown and incorrect explanation for the large difference in blurry vision, distance acuity, and astigmatism between the two eye...
