My own left eye is about 1 diopter "weaker" (really more strained) than my right most times, & can be as much as 3 diopters weaker if I'm stressed. It seems to be the one that gets frightened more...

Also, you do NOT have "static good sight" with glasses -- your periphery is cut off & your depth perception seriously compromised, not to mention your awareness of color.

Commandos. This is where a teacher can be a big help. There is some pain which is your eyes letting go of strain stored over years of bad visual habits -- this is a good thing if you're going slowly....

Everyone is different; don't be afraid to experiment. Sit a little closer to the TV if you have to, or wear pinholes. Don't forget to take frequent breaks when you feel yourself starting to strain. Re...
