Rita, again, great! I'm really not sure about the "+2" but it's something like what I wrote earlier. Maybe it means you read 2 letters correctly on the next lower line, and if you had missed 2 letters...

You can pull down your lower eyelid and let direct sun fall on the sclera there which as I remember Bates did too with patients, and then you won't need anyone else.

To me it's about attention, since "spacing out" is not paying attention to anything in front of your eyes. Are your attention and gaze on the same thing? Peter Grunwald taught that the attention leads...
