I like palming in bed right after awakening (Emily Bates advised nearsighted patients to do this). Sometimes I have to (or else I can't get up) because my vision is so much worse right after awakening...

YAY I just found a magnifying glass! :D I was trying to give myself the sun treatment, with the help of a little mirror to see where I was focusing the sun's rays. You gotta get the angle just right....
